SCI-PAC Endorses Rep. Pete Stauber for Reelection in Minnesota’s 8th District

According to Safari Club International, its political action committee has backed Representative Pete Stauber of Minnesota’s 8th District in his campaign to retain his House seat. Stauber, a Republican, formerly served in law enforcement and has spent his life engaged in outdoor activities. The organization stated that he has pressed for wildlife managers to receive broader discretion instead of being constrained by inflexible federal rules. It further reported that he supported 2025 legislation amending the Endangered Species Act and obtained a provision requiring federal agencies to confer with state, local, and tribal governments before they issue species-listing determinations. Safari Club International’s political action committee framed the endorsement as support for Stauber’s work on hunting and conservation matters in Minnesota amid the midterm elections.
