Description — Wetland

Wetland habitat covers marshes, floodplains, dambos and seasonal pans where water — not trees — structures the hunt. Bangweulu, Okavango-edge systems, Kafue flats and similar landscapes produce specialist antelope and a different daily rhythm.

In the dry season some wetlands shrink into grassy flats that feel almost like grassland; in the wet they become boat or deep-wading country. The same named wetland can hunt two different ways six months apart.

Enquire with season and species first. “Wetland” without a month is incomplete.
